Beach & Butterflies - Sunday Sea Share #4

Happy Sunday!

I am beginning to feel better -
at least for now.
Yippee!

My hubby and I decided to go for a walk
on the mesa by our home.
It leads to a staircase down to the beach.

Along the way,
we saw many butterflies (& a few lizards).

We also saw some pretty spectacular views.

The butterflies are drawn to the native flowers
(like this one which was growing along the path).

I always like to search for sea glass, seashells,
and pretty rocks when I go to the beach.

I always seem to find pretty things,
such as this rock.
However, I leave most of them.
Today, I did bring home a nice piece of driftwood
to make a project for my fireplace mantel.
(I found the project on Pinterest.)

Butterflies are symbols of change.
It's very appropriate for today's post -
since today I rolled out a new look for my blog
(which I love!  I hope you do, too).

I hope you had a great day
and that you have a wonderful week.

    1. Debra,
I went to college at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and it was heaven on earth. It took 20 years to be able to return, but I feel so fortunate to live here. The Midwest, though, has a particular charm that is hard to find anywhere else in the country (so that is lucky for you). Thanks for stopping by!
