Blue Mason Jar Holder

Today, my daughter went to
Beauty Con Los Angeles 2015.
She was so excited!
She has always loved make-up, fashion, jewelry, etc.

In her bedroom, she has a vanity table which
she uses to get ready before she goes out.
It has a magnifying mirror, make-up organizer, and
other items for her make-up & beauty routine.

Still, she needed more space to hold items -
such as her make-up brushes, lip glosses, and cotton swabs.

I wanted to make some storage space which
would be both functional and cute.
Her room is filled with shabby chic furniture from
Pottery Barn and it has shades of teal,
peach-pink, and white.

I used these colors for her mason jar storage.

I purchased a set teal-blue mason jars.
Then, I used spray chalk paint to
cover a wood board with white.
I also purchased plumber clamps and
I spray painted those teal (to match the mason jars).

I am still waiting for some dried flowers in shades of
teal and peachy-pink.  In the meantime,
I filled every other jar with these pink & blue silk flowers.

Finally, I filled the remaining jars with extra beauty supplies.
Then, I added a few embellishments.

My daughter has this mason jar holder
hanging on the wall above her vanity.
She really likes it!
