Sometimes, life's little surprises
are such a joy.
California is in the middle of
a TERRIBLE drought.
Strict rules allow only two days of watering
each week.
My yard has certainly seen better days.
Amazingly, I found this little gift
growing in my front yard yesterday.
(It's a perfect flower for the Fourth of July!)
It's a small thing,
but it really brought a smile to my face.
